About Steve Sheehan

Steve Sheehan resides in Eagan, Minnesota and is an award-winning multi-medium artist who explores a wide range of subjects with watercolor, acrylic, oil, and alcohol ink techniques. He is an active member of Eagan Artists Connect, the NorthStar Water Media Society, and the Burnsville Visual Art Society, and is a supporter of the Eagan Art House and ArtWorks Eagan. He currently teaches stained glass workshops at the Eagan Art House.

Steve is a retired clinical orthotist, but has engaged in artistic endeavors throughout his life, including painting, sculpture, stained glass work, and fish taxidermy. His training in art techniques began at the Minneapolis Institute of Art and the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC, and he was an art major in college. His training has continued over the years through coursework and workshops with established artists. He loves the camaraderie of the arts community and enjoys learning new ideas and techniques from fellow artists.
